    John: What happened?

I regularly come here and read the posts but what happened? It doesn't look like anyone has posted here for 2 weeks. Are you all out playing bj ?

    it is a bit dissapointing.

I have been playing alot, as I suspect others have also. I think with the growing scarcity of good games most of us fear to talk much since if things get much worse we will be forced into hibernation. I also think alot of players have just given up the game.

I understand the GC pages at BJ21 are also very slow.

    Good cards,
    Ouchez.

    Well, I am still playing.

I made 10,000 dollars last month. Maybe I'm a damn fool for continuing to play, though. I guess we will see.

By all means keep on playing, you must have great *Skillz*.

I take it you are a Midwest player. What level do you bet and what type of BJ games do you play?

    I am a DD maven. I also like 4D.

    Good cards,
    Ouchez.

I won't reveal too much because you never know who reads these messages.

I play 2D and 6D. I've noticed that since I've started green chipping, I almost never lose on 2D so I've been playing more of that. This last month was my first month as a green chipper so I was all revved up about it and gave it my best. I have been red chipping off and on for about a year and a half but just decided to throw everything I have at it.
I had a lot of huge losses, of course, but my wins out-weighed the losses. I lost 2400 dollars in about 2 hours on one trip. This last trip I made 2400 dollars but had a loss of 1700 in one hour. Those losses are hard and I usually go to sleep and wake up renewed and determined after them.
I spread 1-12 green. I play basic Hi-lo. I never play on intuition or hunches.
I was just recently banned at one casino so there is a cost at playing this way. You can imagine what a 1-30 spread on double deck would do for your win-rate. Or what a 1-45 spread would do on 6 deck for your win-rate.

I do play in the midwest. Also, I think I have only played with one other counter. I don't see any counters around where I play.

That is pretty wild spreads. I can see where you would draw the heat. I have actually used a 1 to 40 spread on DD in one fell swope, rather funny when you think about it.... To bad you were barred, that is not good for the ole ev. How did it go down?

I also experience big swings but I hang in and it usually works out in the end. I have had the privledge of playing with a few great players, and learned alot from them, that I have employed in my game. I call it "Hangin and Bangin". I do employ some different tactics as far as bet spreads that work very well as I know the games I play on an almost intimate basis.

Please keep us informed on the experiences you have in the future and yes, be careful as to what you say being to specific.

    Thanks for posting.

    Regards,
    Ouchez.
