MrPill: What a Crazy Game this Is!

Played twice this week in Detroit.

First day I was about 20 units ahead after a couple hours of play and came into an extremely high count in the second half of a shoe. Everyone around me was winning hands and I was being given a ton of double down hands. Ended up loosing 25 units before the shoe was over. Ended this sessions down 5 units.

Had the chance to play at the same place 3 days later and ended up having many neutral to slightly positive shoes. It was as if I could not loose a hand. After 3 hours of play I ended up 44 units.

Good thing for me the table minimum was higher on my second outing and resulted in my best one time $ win to date!

    I love this game!

    Doc: Poor Pen?

Don't they cut off 2+ decks from the shoes at all 3 detroit casinos? The games seemed to me previously unplayable. Has this changed?

Casinos play host to some of the most phenomenal
happenings ever witnessed. Twilite zone is childsplay in comparison. The game itself
offers (for me) some of the best natural highs
and rushes. I was was witness to something that
made me speak in tongues. and i can barely speak english. it was the end of a decent grind
(grind is an hour for me) im up a few units
nothing major but im smiling to myself. im on 1st.
listening to guy 2 pads to my left talk about how his book tells him he should do this and do that.
which for the most part his plays agreed with the mass concensus. over on 3rd is a guy playing
50 - 125 a hand. this judging by his dress, hands,
skin tone and the difference in color of skin at the hairline worked outside. most likely construction (hands). anyway.. unless he had duffle
bags of money he shouldnt have been doing what he was doing. i have yet to see anyone (where i play)
that bets that hi , walk away a winner. so the story goes... im at the end of my grind end of a decent shoe... when hell freezes over... im
represented by 3 units.... showing 11 ... so i double... which puts over spread... but .. it happens... dealer showing 3 or 5 ... sometuhing like that to where i was feeling decent because he tipped me a 8 or 9... not sure which (been a while)... so the dealer turns... and its looking ok... seen better.. seen worse... he gets his 3rd....his 4th...his 5th... ( im sober) his 6th...
and then he gets his 7th card of which lands him """""""""""""""""""21"""""""""""""""""""""""
7 card 21.... now im not a violent person.....
but there were some images that flashed before my eyes... i wish i could remember his exact cards he had.. but i do remember it was a 7 card 21...
all i could do was laugh... it was shortly after that that i started keeping a journal of
things i saw , encountered and exp... because
as all of you know in a casino... regulars laws
of life are out the window...... the short reply to that post would have been .... I AGREE ITS A KRAZY AZZ GAME!!! AND I LOVE IT TO MAN!!!!
but when it comes to conversations of the felt
im never short on words. to the dismay of some.. heh 8)
any way i would like to know if someone has ever seen a string longer than 7 cards for the dealer that ended in 21..... and i wasnt trying to
top your fish story by any means. i was just agreeing in a very long winded way... ask me the time i try and explain how to build a clock... lol... anyway good day to all!!!

    Doc,

You can usually find < 2 on the 8 deckers at GT and close to 1 at the 6 deckers at MC. I avoid MGM totally because it is always bad there.
