    RetiredBlackjackGuy: MN and WI conditions?

Nice to see people posting here! I really miss the old bj21 where useful info was posted daily. I haven't played to much the last couple years so I am not aware of my local conditions. So does anyone know what the conditions are at Mystic Lake, Treasure Island, Hinckley, Turtle Lake, Jackpot Junction and Hole in the Wall?...Has heat gone so through the roof that no one is playing anymore? That would explain why not many people are posting. Thanks in advance for any info before I get back in the game.

My$tic L@ke conditions are alright 52/104 and a deck and a half to two decks cut off of the shoes. DOA DAS RSA H17 and so many pits you can tablehop and not see the same pit for hours. Some heat here, but if you keep moving at low limits you should be alright.

Tre@sure Isl@nd gives better cuts on their DD games(if they still have them I havent been there in a while) and the shoes are about the same as My$tic. DOA DAS RSA S17. T1 hates winners and wont hesitate to send you packing.

H1nckly is much like My$tic in rules and pen, but has a DD in high stakes that can at times be so-so. Maybe a little less heat than My$tic though.

J@ckpot has very bad pen, but alright rules(S17 DAS DOA.) Some heat here.

Turdle and the H0le have some pretty nice DD games up to 80% pen with alright rules(DOA S17 RSA I think) Some people get quite a bit of heat at these place and some dont

It's been a few months since I've been to Treasure Island, about 6, but when I was there last they had done away with the DD games and went to 4D games. I?ve played at Turtle Lake for quite a few years and there is now heat that was never there before. . Mostly at the $5 & $25 DD games. Did not notice any heat at the Hole.

ET Fan: Rule of thumb in Wisconsin

I just completed a tour of all 15 Wisconsin casinos that offer blackjack, and the rule is, the farther you get from Milwaukee, the better it gets. There are beatable games everywhere, with the possible exception of Potty-wannabe. The places north of Green Bay may not be worth your time, if you're a high roller. Serious black action is pretty much limited to GB and Mil. You can get $100 - $1,000 at BloChunk, but 4.5/6 H17 is pretty tough. The Pot takes $2,000 bets now, at all its $25 and $50 tables.

I can't be more explicit on an open board, but let me just say I fear not all the mechanics in upper Wisconsin work in gas stations.

You are probably right as I have not been there in longer.

I know atleast one person who is out of the Hole(lol, lets see how many Hole jokes we can make in one thread), but I personally haven't seen the slightest bit of heat even when I would normal expect it anywhere with certain results.

It is pretty funny. When I made the rounds and played around 40 hours a week at the major casinos in the area I could always count on the Turtle and the Hole to give me great games and minimal heat. I do know the supervisors there used to get a cut of the tips so if you tipped decently within your means they would let you get away with a 5 to 50 spread. I don't know if that is still the case though because I am hearing alot about back offs there now where I never heard of them three years ago. It is unfortunate because I had my best results at these casinos.

    A little education please.

If it would not tip anyone off as to you or your times of play, what is the downside of outing a cheating dealer or store?

    Thanks.

Any post explicit enough to be of any value would instantly be busted, and with good reason. Truth is always a defence to any slander suit, but the burden of proof shifts to the defendant. Without video tape or a confession, proof is almost impossible. Even if you see something very blatant with your own eyes, it's your word against theirs, and you'd lose your shirt in a slander suit.

In this country, the only two people it's safe to share your darkest suspicions with is your spouse and your lawyer.

If I had absolute, concrete evidence that a particular casino (or dealer at a casino) was cheating, I would not only post it, I would provide it to other websites, take it to the mainstream media, shout it from the rooftops, etc.

Not to mention notifying gaming and law enforcement authorities.

This would have to be something like an actual tape in my possession coupled with a sworn deposition from a casino employee, or better yet, several employees.

Anything less and I am leaving RGE (not to mention me personally) wide open for a lawsuit. And casinos have plenty of money to spend on protecting their reputations.

Most of the time, someone cries "cheating" simply because they seem to be losing more often than they feel is natural.

While I don't think cheating should be totally discounted, in nearly all cases these situations are nothing more than weak play or simply negative deviation.

Some might call it bad luck. :-)

    ET Fan: Let's say ...

... a dealer hops around a casino, following you (a known counter in a region where it's illegal to bar counters) from table to table, pit to pit, with the regular dealers leaving and returning on cue. And let's say each time this fellow (who gives great[/I] pen, BTW) starts dealing to you, you lose 90+% of hands. You start betting table minimum, and hop from table to table for another 90 minutes, just to see what happens. Pattern continues. SD is over 4 to the left of the curve. You get to play dealers other than Mr. Razzle-dazzle a total of less than 20 minutes on 13 different tables.

Would you think, "Gee, they must really LIKE COUNTERS here, since they sent this guy with really good pen to follow me around constantly??"

BTW, I don't believe I was cheated in upper Wisconsin. I was actually very lucky on my trip. The above happened to me elsewhere, but I have very good reasons for stating the fear that I mentioned. You can take it or leave it. It's your nickel.

Nobody doubts the veracity of what happened to you -certainly not me.

Parker was just dogging me little on my continuing use of the "luck" concept.

I would say if you played the same dealer over thirteen different tables, in the same session, with SD 4 to the left, chances are you're right, they weren't playing fair.

So as to my original question -I see nothing wrong with you making a detailed post -and Parker allowing it -describing in detail your play and what happened -even including the name of the casino and the dealers name.

Nobody has to call that cheating in print -others can just decided if that is the "experience" they want in the future.
