Electric Kid: More on Kewadin Casinos

In a post below, there was some discussion about whether the blackjack rules were the same at all 5 Kewadin casinos in the U. P.

I decided to do some inquiring and this is what I found. I was told all the Kewadin casinos offer blackjack, two deck pitch and slots. This was news to me because last year the Kewadin casino at Christmas did not offer a 2 deck game. I was told they had this two deck game for about 3 months now. I was also told that the blackjack rules are the same at all 5 locations so Trackjack is wrong in listing different rules for different locations. I'm not talking about pen just the rules.

I think Trackjack does a superb job of maintaining and posting accurate information on numerous casinos.

That the Kewadin venue may have some less than accurate info on such an obscure casino is a possibility. However, perhaps it might have been more prudent to advise Michael Belgard privately as to your new observations instead of taking a whack at Trackjack in the manner you have in such an open forum.

I would also suggest that casinos change their games fairly frequently. The recent introduction of 6/5 at TI is a case in point.

Electric Kid: Never said Trackjack does not do a superb job.

A poster asked if the house advantage was accurately described in Trackjack for the Kewadin casinos and I responded that I believed it wasn't accurate for all of their casinos. There is bound to be an occasional error or omission in blackjack reports, and I don't believe in hiding errors under the rug. Errors happen, its part of life. I would be the first to admit that Trackjack does an excellent job in reporting conditions and I pointed out to the poster what Kewadin casino had the correct rules to use.

In the Midwest, rules at casinos don't change very often. It may be years before any changes are made to the game rules although the pen can change quite frequently. The Kewadin casino is not an obscure casino. It is the largest and best known of all the casinos in the U.P. and is widely known for its liberal blackjack rules.
