I've never played in AC, but it took me less than a minute to get table conditions for 31 distinct games (nicely sorted by penetration and off-the-top edge) on Trackjack. It's worth a look.

scobee 1: I agree, Trackjack is excellent.

Especially for Atlantic City. They even include website links.

Tropicana has very cheap mid-week rates. You will not find a good game there unless you are smarter than their chicken.

As for 'good conditions', I have no advice since I have not played there since January. I remember having to look around a lot. It depends on your bankroll and when you are willing to play. WWW has some $5 games and I found a $10 table or two of 6D at the Hilton during off hours. Recent reports are that the Sands has re-opened some tables and may be offering that rarest of commodities, LS. The differences between casinos change slightly, but generally the standard is two decks cut at both the six and eight.

I don't think there are good conditions except for off hours and selected dealers. I walked my shoe leather to the uppers on the boardwalk. I will tell you that you may be able to find less than 1.5. I would stay away from casinos that do not allow resplits.

    scobee 1: The link

I had forgotten how helpful Tamburin's site was for conditions in AC. In fact, Radar O'Reilly excluded only because his reports are quarterly, this may be the ultimate monthly resource for Atlantic City.

    Is she not Scobes wife?

scobee 1: You funny guy, Ouchez...

    > Is she not Scobes wife?

That would be 'King Scobe'....the rhythm roller and author of a million books sold. Frank Scoblete. I see you read the link. He is purported to be the best selling gambling author of all time. I haven't read anything by him yet, but I'll bet you have.

Why can't I find a wife who counts? My current fantasy is to teach a gorgeous young stripper to count and take her to Vegas. She could sit at the table and spot for me. When the running count hit maximum velocity, I would swoop in and bet large on her boxes, as befits a proper 'Sugar Daddy.' I could play this tune in every strip casino from Mandalay to the Strat, and have none the wiser.

Very funny my friend. We'll just quash that rumor right now.

And I consider them very innovative and filled with information, however the "five count" is just plain dumb.

He has been responsible for my great success at the craps table. For this I thank him.

I have never read a book on BJ by scobe, and have no desire to do so.

Generally a very common sense writer/speaker about gambling and I think new gamblers should buy a few of his tapes, it will save them much grief.

I am sure someday you will. With you're good looks, charm, and dapper dress, I am surprised you have not already.

Next time you come to the Polar Regions I will find you a Indian Princess, one with teeth and that does not smoke a corn cob pipe!!

Thanks for the trackjack tip guys. I just got a one year subscription to Don's Domain, as well as a year subscription to Trackjack. Both for a black chip, which I consider a pretty good deal! Thanks for responding to my post.
