RP: Caesars Indiana to dump DD...

The word going around CI is that DD will be axed at the end of this month.

Thanks, Ouchez. A springtime BJ Bash up North would sound great to me.

    ARE so great!

Anytime would be groovy, it is so much fun when we do one of the informal " Midwest Advantage Players Conventions".

I haven't been to one, but would definitely like to attend one. Keep us all posted on plans.

Milk Man: Getting Lost in the Woods

Ouchez and Electric Kid,the Milk Maid and myself are thinking of a ski trip to Hurley Wi. I am going to ask my cousins if there is any snow. If a wander from the slopes into the woods you know of any warming houses? How long from Hurley? Any good food or liquor opportunities?

Ouchez, yes a spring time "BJ Bash" sounds great. I hope to get over your way in April or May. I much rather have it at the casino that I never lose at rather than the place where I can't win. I think you know the places I'm talking about. I'm looking forward to seeing that DD game with 90% pen.

you picked Hurley WI instead of Ironwood MI as your destination. I think Ironwood is actually closer to Indianhead and Blackjack ski resorts. Did you know Hurley, WI had a very colorful history in the old mining days. Main street is just one bar after another and this place use to be famous for its open gambling and prostitution. I remember my dad telling stories about this place. Below is article I found on internet about Hurley, WI.

"HURLEY, WI 54534 (Pop 2015). The old lumbermen of a century ago used to say, "The four hottest places on a Saturday night are Cumberland, Hayward, Hurley and Hell." Hurley's Central Avenue is rare in that it retains at least a ghost of its fame from a century ago, not as a planned and reconstructed tourist attraction, but just because it does. The gambling has moved to Indian reservations; the wide-open prostitution has been closed down, or at least driven underground, although girly shows remain; the bars are just as rough and seedy as ever. It's the real thing, not designed by Disney. Hurley has motels, a supermarket, hardware store, laundromat, and other hiker necessities, although Ironwood, Michigan, across the river, generally has these sort of things in greater abundance."

Remember that fox in the black leather outfit that had heard that the E. KId was in the house and wanted me to introduce her to the "Deadliest Player In The Midwest"? Well, she was very impressed with you're Brad Pitt good looks and when I see her she swears you were in the movie Oceans 11!!!! I think you will have to deal with her next time you see her...are you up to that?

Actually we should play in 3 very fine casinos all close to one another, I think that would be a nice tactic and a lot of fun. I will bring a van that seats 8 so the "Bash" players can all ride together.

Have you ever heard second shift workers say how they like that time since all the big wigs are gone and how much more relaxed it is?

Have you ever heard the saying when the cats away the mice will play?

Have you ever noticed that the further away from headquarters the sloppier the office procedures get??

It makes one think a little, (DONCHA THINK?)

    Milk Man: Hurley Wi

My dad grew up in Hurley on a dairy farm. We still have the old farm house in the family. My cousins have ownership of it. We're hoping for some lake effect snow because the Milk Maid and I are cross country skiers. There is not enough snow here in Minnesota. Can you believe it? It has been a goofy winter. But I can't wait to sink my teeth into a pastie and chow at the Bell Chalet.
