    Victor Francis: Learning Statistics

I would like to understand the statistical analysis used in blackjack books. I'm good at math but have never studied statistics. Any suggestions where to start? I've been thinking of buying Blackjack Attack anyway, would it contain good info?

I try very hard to explain most of the math in the book, but you might have a look at Richard Reid's bjmath.com. There is a whole section that deals with probability and statistics, with many fine explanations.
