"It doesn't take 20 min to play one shoe"

I may have exaggerated but not by much. With a hand shuffle it often takes 15 minutes or more with other players, each of them often playing both sidebets. Add to that a lazy or chatty dealer and it seems to happen to me pretty frequently.

The bigger question to the OP's point is was my math right? 6 deck game dealt to 4.75 with 2 other players means I'm getting 22.8 rounds per shoe, correct?

I did tonight. It certainly doesn't feel like I'm getting 5.62 shoes per hour (or more at 4.75 cut) unless I'm alone or with one other player who is not making sidebets. I believe sidebets slow the game significantly, especially with 4 players, as mentioned on pg 18.
