So I came back from my Vegas trip a little while back, took a break (not really, barely survived vegas with profits) and upon my return, I said it's time to hit the HL room at my local again. I was spreading at the DD (poor rules, nDAS, No Surrender etc) but did have great pen. I'm talking 75-85% PEN. Anyways was spreading from $50 to $500 without any trouble. However while shot taking, things weren't going my way and I eventually began spreading from off shoe at 2 x $100 to 2 x $1500. I did about (1) 3 hour session and (1) 5 hour session of this and ended down over $25K over the course of the two sessions.
I think the crazy thing was, I was 0/8 for insurance, even at massive counts (i took insurance at 2.5+ only if closer to end). I got only one insurance right at the end for 2 x $750 before I called it quits. A couple months of SERIOUS part-time grinding evaporated in two days. Jesus. Worst time to run bad while shot taking higher stakes. Countless times I was paying anywhere between $500-1000 per insurance and losing them. Maybe I'm just not remembering the wins, but the losses sure overwhelm them!
Well this sure blows... Time to move back down to the 8 deckers... Sigh
------------ VOODOO Statement ----------------
LIFE-TIME LOSER AT THE DOUBLE-DECKS. Everywhere I go, from Vegas to my Local, I have losing sessions. Despite I don't have many hours in them. For instance, went to Vegas, started hammering at the NYNY on Day 1, ended and got the boot in 45 minutes spreading 1 x $25 to 1 x $800 etc. I ended down over 3-4K. Lmfao. I run well at them. Yet i seemingly never lose at the shoe games. Like EVER. I [almost] always rebound.
