Personally, I am not much paranoid of ASMs programmed to stack the shoe because I only play at mainstream casinos which I do not believe would ever risk their licenses, not to mention jail time, to pull such a trick. A small casino-- who knows what they might do? The history of casinos in this country is not entirely a pretty one.
Is Sands considered a mainstream casino. Because I find that place to be rigged.

I know I didn't check this in the poll but after researching it and seeing the various advantages to just Video Poker offerings I would be interested in machine play. I am surprised more aren't interested in BJ variants. They are another area of overlooked stronger opportunities with low heat.

I believe Sands Corporation is the largest casino company in the world, led by Sheldon Adelson, the world's 22nd richest person. Much of its investment is in Singapore and China. If there is any rigging going on, I feel sure it is at the local, not corporate, level. It is not unheard of for managers at the pit or higher levels to use cheating methods to get their numbers up, but it is a rare occurrence nowadays, if they do. I played at a major casino back in 2007 and I'd swear the pitch dealer was a card mechanic by the way he moved his hands, his patter, and his grip on the cards. In that particular case, most of the people in that pit were of the same ethnicity, showing pit boss power to hire whom he wished possibly, and if he had that much control, he may have used his power to cheat here and there to keep pit numbers up. I'm not accusing-- just speculating. It just does not make sense for a major corporation not owned by a mob to engage in such practices that would jeopardize their very existence.

I still know a couple of ASM's that break so much you will get a lot of hand shuffles. I am no ST expert but I just don't trust the machines. I have exploited shuffles by certain dealers though. I always tracked big clumps of aces and huge runs of face cards. I guess my life got easier with all the ASMs. I do miss the hand shuffle games though.
You need to travel more T3, I've seen dozens of hand shuffles in my recent travels all over the upper midwest.

I am sure they abound in certain areas. the machines are expensive to rent. A small casino would have trouble footing the bill. I just see very few hand shuffles around here. One place decided the machines were not worth the rent but most are heading the opposite way and are getting rid of the last of their hand shuffles. I should have the time to expand my horizons in the near future. Perhaps I will come visit your area. Do have have an extra room.
