I heard that the other day. It's amazing how universal ploppy adages are.

All tis talk of casino cheating and the dealer hitting out on every 20 reminds me of a shoe that may make your day or may make you want to shoot someone. This is actually the best shoe I have had in the last few years. The count went through the roof very early. I was playing heads up. I got nothing but stiffs and the dealer kept getting a T as his face card. I made hands out of every one of those stiffs despite the monster count. If it was a weak hand that I made the dealer busted his T. I won almost every hand the entire shoe and the count stayed high until the end of the shoe because of all the low cards that kept helping me win offsetting the high cards that were coming out. Let me tell you it was so satisfying to have me be the one hitting out on the monster count. If you play long enough you will see it all but that is one I didn't think I would see but in retrospect seeing the dealer do it to me a few times I should have realized it would happen some day. It felt much better than winning with great cards after the deal.

    hey jer ,
    speaking of casino v .
If your max bet is a thousand... is it weird to be 850 max bets down ?
you're closing in on losing a million (even pretend) dollars -
I would re- evaluate my plan ...
at what point do you raise the bet with the given rules and given count system ? ....
if you're only raising with an advantage I guess its just a downswing .... hope it gets better for ya

My max bet is 2 X $25,000. So it very well could be variance.

    Wish I could some how.

I think it is a downswing. But it is so strange this is happening on both the virtual and real games.

You practice to be ready for casino play. Why would you use a spread different than you plan to use at a casino. It would seem counter productive to the exercise. That makes you down 34 max bets or 17 if you consider your max bet 50,000. That is not so unusual but since you are not using what you will do at the casino the exercise is misleading your perception.

If you results in both are way off the sim results you may be making lots of mistakes. It may be time to consider a different approach or at least stop losing real money until you are actually good at counting cards and applying the skill in a betting situation.

Thanks T3 but I have been checking my plays according to the TC on CVBJ and I am still losing.
