If you are an out of state license plate driving on I-40 in any of those states (AZ,NM,TX,OK), your odds of being pulled over are ridiculously high.

I'll second this. The only time I've ever been pulled over was coming out of Firelake Grand with 20 K in my car. Got me via "airplane." I didn't know that was such a thing.

Those lines in the road are for timing how long it takes you to cover a specific distance as viewed from the air.

If West, then Reno or Tahoe seems logical

Easy access from airport to where you want to be in about 10 minutes. If it's during the summer, an A's or Giants game is within driving distance and we have one of the nicest AAA stadiums around. Maybe present yourselves as a bowling team to avoid suspicion. I know a few people on the inside to see about special rates and a meeting room.
Moo, I previously shared with you my preference for the Gulf Coast region. However, if we are going out west, I woul prefer Tahoe/Reno in the summer. Just not during June (vacation with wife and client commitments).

Besides, I might get to meet moses (worth the price of the bootcamp, airrfare and lodging by itself). Hey perhaps he could even explain and demonstrate his non-traditional, non-linear card counting approach for those with an open mind to such academic and theoretical methods.

You do something in that geographical area, I'll be there!
    Exoter175,

I think the word you wanted was "contiguous", rather than "continental". Even way back when I was in school, the U.S. had 49 continental states

STL PREEEEEZE, that city is beautiful, and I know we all talk about Reno/Tahoe/LV/ETC has so much to do, but how many of you have ever been to the sights and grounds of a worlds fair? Taken the annheiser bush tour and seen the clydesdales? If we're talking larger group settings like 10-20, STL is probably the place to do it with so many "large group" attractions, and not to mention a handful of casinos sprinkled around the area :P

if you already know ill-18, fab 4, shuffle tracking (weakest area), standard deviation, score, deck estimation, and a few other things is it worth attending ?

If I can gain more knowledge I'm all for it !!!! What's the cost and has there been an established date or location yet ?

Sure, I was thinking about doing several different topics, like machine play, tracking, etc.

You could do a Webinar sort of thing so location wouldn't be a huge deal. Might be a stupid idea but I just thought of it and thought I would bring it up.

If you do this close enough to me Moo, I wouldn't be opposed to joining as a "guest lecturer" so-to-speak on Machine Plays and/or the evolution of "cover" and Longevity, unless you think you're well taken care of in that department.

I would greatly appreciate something like this. I probably wouldn't be able to travel to whatever the next location is if the next one is happening sometime in the next year.

While the in-person stuff may be pretty essential to the appeal of this sort of thing, having the lecturing segments on a video conference would help make it more available to more of us. However, it does increase the risk of someone from the other side getting a spot.
