    Your Thoughts Please...

I've been playing the game for around 4yrs..I have practiced and practiced ALOT..I usually win 9, 10, 11 sessions in a row and then have a couple of losing ones..My last session was very..very depressing..I mean, I lost 11 in a row on three separate tables, took breaks-used different systems, AND still got hammered..This was the worst losing session ever..Usually my losing sessions are like losing 6 or 5 in a row..tie then win 2 in a row..then lose again..But today..it was just lose..lose..and lose..!I could not detect any second dealing.. Any opinions-recommendations?

That's how my last session was, I only won two double downs that I can recall and lost all of my other doubles. In fact the last hand I lost was a double down and that's when I got up from the table with the chips I didn't donate to the house feeling disgusted as I ended the beat down I received. I'm not discouraged though. The dealer was just getting pat hands or either out drawing my hand with every turn of the card, it was horrible.

Somehow in my mind I would like to think that they seen me coming from out in the parking lot so they probably gave the word to switch the decks on me because the place was dead but in reality that more than likely did not happen. It was just the worst run of BJ hands that I've received in a long time. If I had to play that particular session over again I would have just played my winnings from the other table games I played on this trip prior to the losing BJ session. Only to go to a different casinos BJ table.

To comment intelligently on your play we need more details. Are you a progression bettor or a counter. What is your spread. what rules and number of decks were you playing. Lots of things like that. I could comment without this info but it would be more about my experiences than what might be helpful to you.

To answer your question..Yes I am a counter, and I was playing on a 6 deck shoe DAS rules..I don't increase by bet until I win or tie..I tried halves, Zen, and the David Heath system on them..None of them worked..I increased my playing spots to TWO from ONE when the TC was above +1-and still got hammered..very depressing experience..not giving up-JUST BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD..

this is nonsense...and why do you track # consecutive wins/losses???...it is meaningless...use that 'brainpower' for something worthwhile, like side count aces, learning more indices, etc

    GOOD LUCK!

Something odd about this post. If you have the ability to actually play Halves, Zen and Heath, all proficiently, yet only increase your bet after a win or tie, something is wrong with this picture. Maybe it's just me

I assume he's doing that for cover.

Looks more like less than a full understanding of the game to me. He should probably do a full evaluation of his approach. Review is a good thing for all of us, I think.

so , if the count suddenly goes to Tc 5 , and you haven't won a hand , you just table min bet still ? I'm sure that's part of it ...

What happened to you is likely to be the normal fluctuations inherent in blackjack. Strap in and hang on, blackjack is like a rollercoaster ride with unbelieveably crazy ups and downs.

Make sure you are playing good games, meaning deep enough penetration since you are playing a normal count game. Shallow pen games yield less EV with the same fluctuations.

From time to time we all just need some encouragement. Its not you or the system. The order of the cards can't be changed with a system, its just how it plays out. You will recoup your loses if you stay focused on your game.

You are probably not looking at your game properly. your max bets are your real bets and your end goal is your goal ,everything else is just the scenery. good/decent games are necessary as well as a proper bank/finance. There is a list of whole lot of other stuff.
