This probably won't happen much anymore as Maryland Live has gone to continuous shuffle machines on almost all of their blackjack tables. Maybe the $100+ tables still have shoes. It started probably a year ago with just a couple on the $10 tables, then each time I went, there were more and more. I havent played a hand there in months. The Horseshoe has $10 tables even till 9pm on Saturdays and shoes cut off around one or two decks. Same with 3 card poker. I went the other night and the Horseshoe has plenty of $5 tables. Live was all $10.

I mainly just flat bet as I am just learning but I do try to keep count just to see how things turn out. Even if I dont count, I wont play on them on principle. The game of blackjack is played with X amount of decks dealt through a shoe, not one of these machines. Sure I'll play $5 a hand on a CSM for fun but never more.

Hey, kudos to Maryland Live. They seem to have an endless supply of gamblers willing to bet $25+ on these machines. I guess those people love to gamble. I on the otherhand, would like to at least have an outside chance at winning or breaking even.

Your post is inaccurate, either you've failed to actually walk around the casino or your not very perceptive. There's at least 20+ shoe games at the live.

There are more polite ways of saying this while sill getting across the point.

Thanks for supplying a correction. But, until you see evidence to the contrary:

Yes. I recall a number of shoe games, and I played in a $25 6-deck shoe game on the main floor. I was informed recently they also have $25 shoe games in the high limit area.

If you're from earth, you have the same problems we all have. The difference you have with most of us is that you're quick to own up to it.

Gee, didn't mean to come here to get into a pissing match, just offer my observations. I have gone back to Live a few times in the past month. All of the tables in the front (or back, depending on where you enter) are CSM's. All of the table's in the middle area are shoes. Like I mentioned before, there used to just be a few CSM's, now they are on half the tables. I wouldn't be surprised if the trend continued. Since the front area is where they have the $10 tables (sometimes, never on weekends), it's useless for me to go there. I'm not going to play $15 on a CSM when I can go 10 minutes north and always get a $10 table at the Horseshoe. Make fun of me all you want for playing $10 tables, I really don't care. I know for a fact Rocky Gap has gone to CSM's on 100% of their tables. They used to be nice place, not anymore.

I'll add my thanks, too. Don't be discouraged by some posters here. Stick around and develop a thicker skin like the rest of us have done.
