As far as comps, it sucks to lose a big comp balance but comps belong to the casino until you use them. The fact that they make a portion of your usually secret total comp balance visible to you does not confer ownership of them to you. My suggestion is to keep your comp balance as low as possible and to use them as you need them...maybe getting the hotel to charge your comp balance for your room part of the way through your stay or use the free room and play elsewhere and then blast away at that store the minute you check-out. Use comps to buy gift cards or pre-print the comp voucher ahead of time to lock in the comp before it can be revoked.

Good advice, as usual about using up and locking in as much comp value as you can. Whether they have the right to take back comps and offers or not, I still think it is lousy to offer something and then not honor that offer. It's just weak.
