In your opinion, if I play 4 to 5 hour sessions weekly spreading to a max bet of $80x2, should I use any playing or betting cover?
I have never consistently played 4-5 hour sessions. I kept my win sessions short, generally trying to leave with well under 1$k. If I had won 2-3 sessions, I would leave the next session the minute I am down, so they could book a loss. I wanted to keep my win/loss ratio at 60/40.

In in my case, I used to play 4-5 days a week, the pit and dealers knew me as a full time professional who liked to drop in after work or weekends, the casino was like my own “Cheers” bar, for the company of regulars. An olde4 guy lik3 me can get away with it.

I have gotten a backoff at the red chip level. It happens.

How many of these 4 to 5-hour sessions do you play in a week? I am glad you are concerned with your longevity issues. At least you will be getting free buffets while it lasts.

You are listening to a 70+ year old player who asks the same questions he did 5 years ago instead of the experienced and professional players. If you are older and your ambition is to never advance beyond that level then go ahead.

There is one casino that I chose to get a card to take advantage of a promo. The count game at this casino sucked at the time. For action similar to yours, I received between $5 and $10 of comps for a 3 hour session. Now the count game is good and when I get backed off there, they can share my name to the surrounding casinos.

Don't bother Zach! I tried to warn him previously but he found Zee's information so valuable he told me go screw. He'll just be another wannabe / washout. I could pave all the potholes in my city with them.

I’m not older but my ambition is never to advance beyond the red-chip level. I’m comfortable making a few extra bucks as a side hustle to subsidize my regular job, and if a player’s card can slightly increase EV and decrease heat, I’ll take it.

Isn't that the lack of ambition?

That’s actually really funny. Maybe I will change it to my real name. The irony.
