OK, I'll bite once more. Why on earth would anyone ever abbreviate "hour" by using the last letter of the word? Should we all start writing mpr instead of mph? Really weird.

So, what you're saying is that you knew my intention was "hands per hour" but you wanted me to explain it first so that then you could ask your follow up question?

Don, I won't play this game. If you want to look around the industry just a bit then you can satisfy yourself that my usage is normal. Whether it is more or less common than HPH, I don't know. But, HPR is used everywhere for this. I encourage you to use Google and discover this new truth.

We've had our run-ins, Don. I don't particularly like you. I will add value on this site in the threads where my expertise calls for it. But, I won't stand for your trolling my grammar. Not at all.

Eliot - Your input here is appreciated, especially now that you're retired.

News flash: you don't get to come strolling in here once in a blue moon and dictate to me what you will or won't stand for. I don't give a rat's ass if you like me or not, but if you think you get to tell me what I can or can't do here, find another forum. Another news flash: a great deal more people dislike you for selling out to the casino industry and playing both sides than dislike me, so don't get on any high horses around here.

Finally, HPR is an asinine abbreviation for Hands per Hour, whether you think it's used "everywhere" or not. You don't abbreviate a word by choosing its last letter, even if you are the great and wonderful Eliot, who has a higher opinion of himself than most other people do of him. And no, I didn't know what you meant by HPR; I thought it was a typo of some sort. I have better things to do with my time than to play games with you.

Jack, are you sure that abbreviation shouldn't be OCG?

Don, it appears you didn't want to share this info with Eliot. Well, then ask 21forme. Oh wait, he only knows where the dislike button is.

I didn't want to share because, clearly, the message contained more than just where the Helpful button is.
