No, maybe your comments just deserved the 0 out of 4 from members here? I find the system helpful honestly.

What do you think? Leaving in rental car parked outside may not be wise. Getting a belt and using that has its complications when getting a massage ((or a hot lady invites you up to her room).

When on a trip, say Las Vegas or AC, where do you keep your trip BR (session BR is in your wallet).
Keeping 10K on your person is not hard.
Then maybe just hide it under the mattress or something until you are done with your "massage or ladies" lol gross

Hiding money under the mattress whilst a mistress is on the mattress seems no good idea.

You really want to touch a hotel room mattress?

As usual, you’ve missed the point. Or, it is it more correct to say that you never miss an opportunity to........... miss the obvious.

Way I do it now is to leave the room in the morning with a money belt carrying about $10k, another $4k in wallet. I return in the afternoon AFTER the room has been cleaned, take a nap, put money belt in hotel safe, put the “do not disturb” sign and leave. The only time anyone enters a room is in the morning when they clean the room.

These room cleaning times correspond to my experiences and habits. (I'm currently myself on a vacation in a hotel room with safe). But why do you carry 14'000 to the casino for your morning playing session, and only 4'000 in the afternoon? Is your afternoon playing session shorter?

Housekeeping still hasn’t cleaned his room, thus the potential for theft is greater.

But he says the room is only entered in the morning?
(I've been to some 4 or 5 star hotels with annoying housekeeping procedure at 8 p.m. in the evening, but most 3 star hotels did only the usual cleaning in the morning or afternoon, at least in Europe).

    Yes, after he’s left.

OK, so he doesn't usually need the 10k for playing in a single session. 14k is trip bankroll and 4k is session bankroll or s.th.

$4000 as session and “afternoon” is sufficient. I am playing within driving distance of hotel room and can use the break if I have lost $4k. I feel I must take a break f I have lost as much as $4k in a short time and not carrying more, forces me to leave the table instead of chasing my losses.

On on a trip, I start with $10k in my money belt, about $3k-$4k in my wallet. When I return to my hotel room, if I have won, I add it to my money belt, keeping $3-$4k in my wallet. If I have lost, I add money from my money belt to my wallet. If my hotel room has been cleaned, and usually it is, I will put my money belt in hotel safe. Usually, I call housekeeping or see if the cleaning crew is on my floor, slip $2-3 with request to clean my room by 1:00 p.m.
