Actually, I am not in Black but getting there. I was down several thousand but it’s now under $1k.

I started out but never did make that trip. I will likely do it early October (unless weather goes wired).

Not planning on going that far north. Maybe twin cities, in MN, Wisconsin and south.

Zee, that is a great time to go on a blackjack trip. You will be able to see the fall colors. Fall colors will probably peak around Oct 15th in central WI. In the U.P. they normally peak around Oct 5th, however this year has been quite warm. We haven't had a frost yet, but on my last blackjack trip there was some signs of color already. Also on my last blackjack trip on my pee stop into the woods no more bugs. I guess its been cold enough to kill them off.

Here is some info on fall colors in WI.

For those who wish to venture even further north, take the Mt Bohemia ski lift ride in the U.P. to see some breath taking views. Mt Bohemia is only a few miles from Copper Harbor and Brockway Mountain drive which also has great views of fall colors.

Here is video of Brockway Mountain Drive with fall colors.

What persona do you guys use, if any? Do you take on the persona of a gambling whale or do you go the other way and act like a poor degenerate gambler? Any advice for a young white male not to stick out like a sore thumb as a counter?
Having a nice looking girl at your side is a big help, having a not so good looking girl works too. :-)

SammyBoy, hope you enjoyed your visit to the U.P. this summer. Sorry, we couldn't work out a time to meet up.

Sammy Boy, if you think this is inappropriate let me know and I will take it down. No specifics are mentioned so I will leave it up to Sammy Boy

I'm probably the only one who goes to such extremes. I try to be invisible and not even let the region I'm in be known.

Get pissed when you lose. This should not be difficult to do, or require any acting at all.

Since I play in a state that does not allow back offs, after a while of taking counter measures, they now do it only in the HL room and only in DD. They know I count. To pass the time each day, I go to one of two casinos almost every day, play 6 deck games. Playing one hand of $10 at negative counts, Two hands of $10 each at neutral counts, going up to two hands of $75 at TC+4 . Over the last 30 sessions, I am up about $1k in about 100 hours. That is just $10 an hour. Biggest win is $500, biggest loss is $800.

my point is that they track me, feel it’s a waste of time to counter measure someone, piss off other players when I am simply passing time, ploppies like me (and bet on my side bets) as do dealers. The amount I am winning is not sufficient enough for them to get concerned about.
Well of course they track your winnings. My point was that he gets away with a lot because of the act he has created. Remember that was the OP question? Now whether he is a net winner or not I don't know.
And so you waste your time going to a casino everyday and playing for $10 per hour EV or less now? Ok well you and I have very different BJ objectives.

Where I come from folks don't stick their nose up at $10 an hour. In fact, my first job out of college only paid $2.88 an hour.

Marquette, MI is the largest city in the U.P. of MI and the average income of a Marquette resident is $21,052 a year, and that is only a little over $10 an hour. https://www.bestplaces.net/economy/c...igan/marquette

Of course, Marquette is always ranked as one of the best small towns to live in USA, beating out such places as Jackson Hole WY.
