I have encountered casino staff playing at the tables at both Foxwoods and Mohegan. One of them tried to start a conversation buy I just headed for the mens room.
A counter, a member of this forum, recent sat down at my table. I would invite him to make general (not specific) comments on the show.
The General questions - did I look like a counter - did I get the spread - did I look natural - was I or was I not robotic to the count - was I natural putting out the big bets - how was comportment translating to how was the act - did I frequently glance at discard tray - was my manner serious or not serious at the table - did my wagers make sense to th3 co7nt - was there inconsistency to my play - would this individual peg me as a counter.
The point is that you don’t need to look like Joe Schmuck counter. Comments should they be made, should be interesting.

The most obvious thing was the lack of a robotic bet ramp. Bets were jumping all around, sometimes with higher bets being played at +3 than at +6 for example. Transitions between bets always seemed natural though. It was more like watching a gambler varying his bets around than a card counter following a ramp, to one who wasn't keeping count themself. As far as mannerism, far from serious. Constantly joking around, making his presence well known. As far as looking at the discard tray, only noticed one a two glances at all, between hands. The act was very smooth. There was a large spread, but the big bets seemed natural coming out.
Last year in CA, I went to sit down to play at a table where one other player was playing multiple hands. When I went to sit down, the player said "he (me) can't play here". I looked at the dealer, and he just shrugged. I figured something was up, and there were other open tables. But later on I spotted the guy and confronted him. "WTF was that all about"? I asked him. He told me he saw me there two weeks ago and he knew I was counting. He then said "we can't have two of us at the same table."
It turned out there really wasn't, as I went to another table. But I didn't like the idea of some random player keeping me from playing. I had not been backed off at that casino. And the fact that the dealer just shrugged didn't sit well with me. Just because he hinted he was a counter doesn't mean he was any good.
You may or may not be right regarding my age bracket. The salient point is the entertainment value I provide.
What I don’t do is...hmm I bet this at true 2, I bet that at true 3, and I bet x at true 4 etc. They’re strategies that get my bet up there which bypass traditional ramping strategies.
You’re certainly very negative, as you’ve previously demonstrated by past behaviours. For the record, I play halves - as I’ve previously disclosed a 100 times or more. Further, my betting strategies have been hinted at in the past, and they’re recognized by very credible posters and initially presented by well known gaming mathematicians. I’ve put my own twist on the gambit.
And, just so you have something to bitch about - I’ve added some add ons without affecting the integrity of halves. Further, the strength of halves gives me the confidence to pull some of the schtick that I do.
