    Meadows in Washington, PA

Going to a wedding in Parsipany, NJ, I just saw that the Meadows casino in Washington, PA is on my way. If it’s worth playing, I could make it my overnight stop on way from Missouri to NJ.

Anyone from PA or with experience with casino?

I played there and once saw someone I thought it is you based on the physical description and playing style you said in your posts. I thought this must be ZeeBaber. Anyway Meadows has hand shuffled game on Saturday, sometimes on Friday or Sunday. This is the best game in USA IMO. PA rules and penetration varied from 5.25 and 5.75 out of 6 depending on dealers. At one time, I have won 12 trips in a roll compared to the other casino in the same region which only offered ASM games which I struggle to bat 50%.

Its amazing to me when people say they saw me or know me from my play. I have never ever made an attempt to identify an AP from their posts or go tp efforts to try and identify someone or look at their posts in archives to figure out who someone is. I would not be able to identify anyone on this forum.

In in any case, thanks for the info. I will stop there next month.

It sounds like you’ve become like Elvis. People are seeing you everywhere. I expect they will still be seeing you even after your death. That’s the great thing about being so famous, you’re never really dead. Lol

The additional hand-shuffled tables only open from 7 PM to 1 AM on Saturday. They may open on Friday and Sunday if there is an event and the casino has huge crowd. Plan your trip accordingly.

Meadows has the best gaming condition in USA. Often I saw BJ players from UK and Ireland directly fly here to have a two day BJ trip.

Peeps say that about Zee because swarthily complected elderly Afghani
men are not often seen playing blackjack. Islam forbids gambling and,
generally speaking, people from that part of the world, are smart
enough to avoid addicting themselves to gambling, economic issues aside.
Zee is a clear exception to those factors.

Why do you have the need for cover? If in the middle of a session you are down 3 max bets with another max bet out and the TC is +6 and you are dealt a six and a four for a total of ten with the dealer showing a nine up you immediately hit your hand because you do not want to be 5 max bets down.

Just to put this all in perspective you felt the need to ask the board this question:

    "
Does penetration affect the non card counting basic strategy player?"

I am glad you have your priorities straight.

The Meadows does offer a good game and really good rules, however they manage most of their tables to full. Maybe on weekends they open more, but during the week it will be tough to get a table with three or less players. Now, the HL area is totally different. I can't recall the minimum, but it's normally pretty vacant in there. You could also try Lady Luck that is a little East of Meadows along with Rocky Gap on the PA/MD border. Report back please.....

Lady Luck is the smallest and probably the worst casino I ever been to. It is more like a resort and they put a few tables to entertain guests. It is more like the Blackjack tables in a cruise ship. The time I went is the weekend and they had only three tables open. Two are Blackjack table. The casino probably has less than 50 very old and outdated slot machines. The only open cashier also serves as the helping desk for their card holders and can make card for new guest. Technically it is not a casino but a resort. You need to spend $10 to enter the casino. But you can buy $10 gift card in gift shop to enter. Then they can use the $10 gift card in their two or three restaurants for lunch or dinner. The menu is very overpriced so you have to pay more to eat though.
