21forme, I’m finally getting around to addressing your post. This is one of the more interesting things I’ve found since I’ve been on these forums. The fact that APs are proud of the fact that they “tap out” when they are NOT smart enough to engage with someone in a debate or comprehend what someone is saying. Putting someone on ignore is the equivalent of “tapping out”.

I don’t know if you’ve watched much MMA fighting before, but “tapping out” is what fighters do as a last resort. It’s a sign of weakness, and being defeated. MMA fighters have to do this to avoid serious injury or possible death.

But in the case of someone on a forum, there is no reason to show weakness to someone else by tapping out. Here’s some friendly advice: If you want to ignore someone, just ignore them. That’s the most effective strategy and doesn’t show the other person you’re weak and defeated.

This is one thing I’ve always respected with Freightman and Zee. You’ll never see them “tap out” and put someone on ignore. They’ve got too much pride.

Just something to think about as you continue to inform everybody of all the people you’ve “tapped out” with (put on ignore).

Wow, I have been away a few days and see that while I was gone, I was a subject of discussion here (course, that means 21forme could not ignore me no matter what). I was out driving around in the state with a lot of tribes and tribal casinos. A very short 2 night trip but interesting. Will post a short report soon.

Multiple handle man, the only reason my comebacks in this thread have been mild is because of you putting ZeeBabar in the spotlight as usual and I do not think that is funny. First Zee did not want or ask to be in any spotlight, at least to the extremes that you often take. How about you telling the board about your own blackjack story for a change? I'm sure Zee would appreciate the break.

Dbs, thanks for the support but I hate it that they are now attacking you. Be careful, there is an individual or two with obsessive personalities that get to where they get extreme.

Dbs, are you proud that you can mock a person continually without the individual having a clue that you are?

Hey Zee. Bosox is referring to you. Not to worry though. I just defended the douchebag in another thread.

How often are you going to "know" someone approaching your table is an AP before seeing them play? I suppose one could know at their local store, but still have to think this is unusual.

Every so often, you just know.

The first time was this guy playing craps (next to my Dad). He had this -look- before I had knowledge of AP etiquette, I approached him at the blackjack table. Long story short, this was the fellow who urged me to switch to halves, taught me the basics of shuffle tracking and team play.i was still very much a newbie at the time.

The second time was this idiot buying in for $600 at a max $50 table. The third time was this fellow when I sat down at a table in Vegas. I asked this fellow if he could move over a square as I sometimes spread to 2 hands. He gave me a dirty look, and I knew, as did he. We ran into each other a few times in a couple of cities in my general rotation. Went out for coffee a few times. Should send him an email to see where he is. (Slash and burn type who has lived in at least 3 cities that I know of)

I’ve also spotted ace locators and shuffle trackers (4 for sure) at the table). Make that 5.

No, from my home Province. I should try to get hold of him also. Haven’t talked to him in probably 5 or 6 years.

I think I know who you’re thinking if.
