Actually, I played under 20 hands. Seven of them I was dealt a seven and folded. Then it said that I had to click the cash icon to pay to continue.

    Sorry to hear that

So exactly how much did it end up costing you? I will see about getting you a refund. Oh... Wait... So you downloaded Casino Over Under, played it but lost $1,000 fake dollars but didn't spend a dime of actual money? Well, that is great to hear. Sounds like everything is fine. If you click on the dollar sign there is either a free $500 fake dollars waiting for you or a little clock ticking telling you how much time is left in the 2 hours you must wait before getting your free $500 of fake money.

Thanks for your time that you spent checking it out and the time you spent handling my posts. I tried to see if I had what it took to be an AP. I was not even close to being able to pull it off.

    From http://www.howtogeek.com/142491/how-...app-purchases/
More than $5000. That’s how much one man’s child ran up on his credit card by playing “free” games on his iPad. Many games may be advertised as free, but they actually try to push expensive “in-app purchases.”
    From http://www.slashgear.com/5-year-old-...ases-02272254/
5 year old accidentally spends $2570 on iPad in-app purchases
    From http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-25748292
The FTC also noted that Apple received at "least tens of thousands of complaints" about unauthorised in-app purchases by children.
You can find numerous stories like these.

So the game is free to download & play, but you can make in-app purchases. Not seeing the problem with that.

BTW, on your How to Play screen, you correctly spelled "inccorectly". Unfortunately, you incorrectly spelled incorrectly.

Two minutes after downloading it, the game stopped working and said I had to pay to continue using it. At least with an online casino, you have a chance of winning. With these apps, you can pay real money to buy chips, but can never withdraw. (Cue the Eagles.) 100% house edge.

First off, great name!! Secondly, thank you for your opinion on this. It all comes down to accountability. I have a four year old son. When he grabs my phone which he does do from time to time, he is unable to buy anything b/c I took the time to make sure he couldn't. It's all there in the settings. No one is forced to buy more chips when they run out. They can just wait until two hours pass and more free chips are ready to be taken. Lastly, apple reimburses those 100% of the time. I have experienced it once since I released the app but I also read it in the contract. So I don't know where Norm got those stories but all they had to do was show Apple and they would be reimbursed in full.

Norm just doesn't like me but I am trying hard to change that. I would like to hang around this site and occasionally pick up some good tips on BJ. I love BJ.

The reason that Apple now refunds is because they were sued and had to pay back tens of millions that they originally refused to refund from apps like this. You can hang around this site. But, I have been in the software field for a half-century -- and this is simply not the definition of free software. You asked for feedback and I gave you feedback. For future reference, my feedback was an actual example of "free".

Putting words in my mouth or trying to read my mind is not an effective manner of achieving that goal.

It's all good Norm. You have a heck of a site. I love every part of this industry. All kinds of interesting characters. You've got a myriad of types of gamblers from casual to absolutely ill addicts then there are the Ap's. They intrigue me b/c I wonder how many are real AP players and how many just really want to be AP players. Can there really be that many?? I have a hard time accepting that many people are that much smarter than me. Kind of hurts the old ego if you know what I mean. Then, if you were an AP why the heck do you want to go around announcing it like I have seen some do. Not here at this site, other places. Then there's the amazing amounts of money coming and going and these amazing structures that got built. Then industry giants that have dominated for years and the last ten years on line has gone global to where outside the US is far bigger market than inside the US. Simply a fascinating industry and this site is a cool little part of it.

This game is probably countable but you probably won't be able to get a lot of action down at the casino it's at. It's the $5 min tables type of place.

The rules do not explain the relationship between the ante and the bonus bet - at least not that I can find. Can you bet more on the bonus than the ante? This affects the strategy greatly.

Yeah, if you fold the ante, does the bonus also fold?

The game could probably be beaten with a level one count. But, this is an example of a game that would benefit greatly from a higher level count due to the obvious large differences in EORs. Still, it's not going to be of much interest until it hits a casino with higher limits.
