No one will ever be banned for $300 session win/$500 all time win AND escorted by security guards. OP must have some other issue like be drunk. It is also likely that he is just a troll.

Both my backoffs came during losing sessions...one where I was down a few thousand dollars...it was brutal...the other was after I split tens...I did so intentionally to gauge heat at a place I didn't give a **** about and the pit boss sprinted over to the table to back me off after I split tens.

If this was the place that I'm thinking of (with the bowling alley attached) they are really sweaty and know how to count. The only good thing about this is that I'm quite sure they don't share info with the other casinos. PM me if you want.

The thing is, you can get backed off for any amount. there are no bright lines that tell you how to avoid being backed off. The guidelines I follow are:
    1. You must be ever sensitive and able to detect heat
    2. You must assume in a sparsely populated store that you are being watched
    3. You must avoid all the blatant tells, such as, betting max, then returning to min bet next shoe
    4. You must constantly reevaluate heat and adjust accordingly
    5. You must avoid ever becoming overconfident
    6. When you are likely being observed, you must have a knack for behaving in such a way as to convince surveillance you're just another ploppy
    7. You must realize that in the final analysis, you may get backed off no matter what you do. Heck, you can get backed off for doing nothing at all wrong. Just leave quietly and respectfully.

Cross my fingers and knock on wood I've never been backed off and I play the Ian Anderson style (wishful thinking on my part).

One of the cover plays I make is to play craps before, during and after my session. I don't bet very large on the craps so my cover play is relatively cheap in the long run. I also have a casino host in every casino I play in and frequently have him/her sit with me while I play at a private table. I understand this is not something everyone has access to but it is a wonderful cover play if you can take advantage of it (not to mention the advantage of playing heads up).
