    MJ: Clip of Semyon Dukach explaining standard deviation


    I think Semyon does a good job teaching this to students at the seminar. This is definitely mandatory viewing for those that are unclear on this topic. I like his teaching style, he keeps the concept simple and manageable without going into too much depth. What do you guys think?

    So-so. I could do it infinitely better! :-)

    And, I know he wanted to keep the numbers simple, but the choice of 1.1 for the s.d. of a card-counter, who is spreading his bets in order to win, is unrealistic. It should be anywhere from 1.5 to more than 2.
