a player: surrender, forget the book

Sorry, I forgot my book to look the BS for counters in case of surrender against ace.(It exists)
BS is surrender 7, 12-17 against ace.
What should i do, when TC is 3 or more? Surrender or insurance? I cannot do both. The dealer no check hole card.
    6 decks.

    Thank you, need fast answer.
