    greg: true-count conversion

If someone were to use a multi-level count like the Hi-Opt2 or RPC, what is the gain by dividing the RC by whole decks instead of 1/2 a deck?

What makes you think there's a gain?

Doesn't matter what count you use, 1/2 deck is going ot be better then whole deck.

If you are using a betting ramp that depends on integer true counts, then dividing by half decks is worse than dividing by full decks in a level I strategy. However, the original post talked of level II strategies. The difference is much smaller there.

I must be missing something, here?s what I am thinking comparing 6D game Hi-Opt2 to Hi-Lo.
    5,5,10,A,2,8,10,5,7,4,4,3,2,5,5,10,A,2,8,10,5,7,4, 4,3,2 (5.5 decks remaining)

    ? deck Hi-Opt2 RC 20 TC 3.63?
    ? deck Hi-Lo RC 10 TC 1.8?.
    deck Hi-Opt2 RC 20 TC 4
    deck Hi-Lo RC 10 TC 2
In both cases you would be betting the same wouldn?t you? Just less work for full deck.

We aren't talking about precison of the division. We are talking about dividing by 11 or 5.5.
