Designated Driver: Parker please forgive me, for I am about to sin.
Gosh darn, mother freaking son of a beach. Oh, not you Parker. :-)
I have just spent the last two and a half hours writing what I consider to be one of the best posts I have ever written, addressing some of my most important and pressing questions until... my damn internet service was interrupted and I lost the connection and the post, and do not believe I can write it again as it was quite long. :-(
Serenity now, peace on earth and good will to all men...Oh hell what's the point, let's be a good CC and cut my losses, go to sleep, wake up refreshed and try again tomorrow.
Good night, and good luck.
Somebody kill me now.

Actually that was quite serious.

Stop, don't shoot.
And thanks be to god as I have found my post alluded to above. A minor holiday miracle? Ahhh..... get over yourself it wasn't that good. You're right, not after you spent another 45 minutes or so fudging it up trying to improve it and make it perfect. But hey, at least you got it done and posted, right? Halelujah and praise be to god in the highest.
Thank you to the almighty,

Parker: A suggestion
I feel your pain. Some of my most brilliant, insightful prose is floating around somewhere out in cyberspace, lost forever.
However, this can be avoided. Any time you wish to compose a post that will be more than a few sentences, write it using a word processor such as Word, OpenOffice Writer, AbiWord, or even Wordpad. Once you are finished, save it to your hard drive for posterity. Then you can simply copy & paste it into the message window in order to post it to the website.
This also has the advantage of allowing the use of a spell checker, thus making my job more pleasant and helping to preserve Don's sanity.

I don't think that's going to do much good. After all, Don's sanity has my unproofed emails to contend with.
Good Cards,

Thanks, sounds like a good idea...if I can just figure out how to do that. Hmmm? And thanks for the empathy.

The Google toolbar for IE and Firefox is free and comes with a spell check button for forms. No excuses!
