Jeffrey Collins: online counting at Global Player site
does anyone have any information in regards to the feasibility of counting at Global Player Casino. One of the games there is a six-deck with 50% penetration. HOWEVER, you can shuffle up on the came whenever the count goes negative. Isn't this BJ HEAVEN ??? Why hasn't this game been shut down due to counters winning obscene amounts of money? Does anyone have any information to report??

No. What are the other rules? That kind of penetration for a 6-deck game requires a huge spread -- and therefore a very large bankroll -- to be worth the time and effort. Admittedly, the equivalent of being able to back-count is certainly attractive, to a point.

You tell us. :-) Go ahead and play and report your results.

Sorry, not I. By the way, I have often written that, were I an unscrupulous businessman (none of them around, right?!), competing for my fair share of online gaming revenue, as a site proprietor, I'd offer a game that looked great to counters (and neophytes, too), draw them all in, ... and then cheat!

I've played at some multi-player online casinos. You wouldn't believe how bad the players are in non-tournment games. Not unusual to see people split Tens against a Ten.

Wow, that was great Don! You nailed it on the head.
Online players report anomalies that are consistent with cheating. The players have reported a couple of different ?issues?. Many of them were when reshuffling as JC suggests. Don?s instinct is quite correct in this case, as usual :-)
Global is listed on at least one ?blacklist? or ?burn joint? that I know of due to these issues. Their multi-player tournament software seems reliable, but they have no motivation, that I can see, to cheat at their tournaments. Their bonus system also makes other games yield a very small positive EV, but with cheating software it is moot.
This question has been asked and answered at other web sites previously. If you search it out at the usual boards/forums, you will find a couple of similar posts out there in cyberspace.
Casinos do make mistakes and it is our job to take advantage of them. After all, we are APs aren?t we? But remember?if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. You were wise to ask questions before you played this allegedly ?crooked? game.
