    Norm Wattenberger: Blackjack Variations

At http://www.qfit.com/blackjack-rules-details.htm I keep a list of 87 BJ variations. The list is rather old considering all the new oddball rules, variations, side bets and bonuses that have appeared due to competition as a result of casino growth over the last several years. I'd like to keep it current. Anyone that runs into new rules, please contact me at [email protected] or respond to this post. I think it is valuable to keep a current list somewhere.

I don't know that it makes much of a difference; but I played at a casino over the weekend that does not allow the player to split tens. It was a farily liberal game otherwise; and this is the first time I have encountered such a rule.

I've seen that one. Perhaps someone once shot another player at that casino for splitting tens. Also, no split of unlike Tens (Jack and Queen) I've seen somewhere in the Islands.

No splitting of tens (or fours or fives) is a standard rule in the UK, along with insuring a blackjack only and ENHC.

    Hey Norm,
How about the rule allowing players to switch their top cards when playing 2 hands ?

    Best regards

    Geoff

    Norm Wattenberger: Sorry 'bout that

Yes I'll add BJ Switch. Now when you allow me to switch between three hands; I'll start playing it

    Thank's Norm.

Actually, it may be worth it - can't say too much at moment but, if all goes well, it will be available in a lot more casinos in the US.

Switch between 3 hands - I like that idea :-)

Let me know if you want a list of the simulated SBA 'Switches' or if you would prefer to calculate them using your own methods.

    Best regards

    Geoff

Surely it's valid. Just mighty rare.

    Use OPTIONS-SETTINGS-BONUSES-BLACKJACK VARIATIONS.

Plus you can use the Custom Rules feature for additional BJ variations.
