    Inside the edge documentary trailer

Looks like it will be entertaining.

My concerns are that it will give up too much information and it will give people the impression beating the house edge is easy:

KC was also recently on the 'Gambling with an Edge' show. He spoke very well and had some great stories.

After watching the trailer, I believe some of your concerns are warranted. However, I believe the casinos enjoy documentaries and movies like this as it gives a large number of players false hopes of beating the casino. Many do not understand what it actually takes to show a profit, in terms of the time, cash, and effort involved.

It looks like a ton of fun and appears to be pretty well-made. That said, I'm of course concerned about the level of information contained within. I couldn't really find any other information about it online—does anyone have the scoop?

The radio interview provides some more details:

Looks like it'll be a good movie.

Just finished the interview, it was very interesting. It definitely looks like a well-made doc, and I look forward to checking it out. I'm just crossing my fingers that his hidden-cam table footage or explanation of advanced techniques doesn't go a little too far.

For anyone that missed the interview, they're aiming for a spring 2012 release.

If the guy in the movie is the REAL guy, I'd say he has now been "outed".

He seems to have a plethora of very unique disguises, capable of hiding his identity. Whilst he did reveal a few from what I could see on the trailer, hopefully he has many more. Seems like a really good watch, and from first glance, better than 'The Hot Shoe'.

The video quality seems better, and the main character seems interesting.

Now it's a matter of who will scoop who...Inside the Edge or Holy Rollers?

(I'm sure I'll see both anyway.)

He seem to revel in displaying his cash bankroll for the camera, also noticed those two stacked bets that towered over everyone's head (red checks). A real show-off.

When you are making a trailer for a film you are trying to grab the audience's attention. Showing a minimum bet would not do that.

I too noticed that for someone working so hard to keep a low profile and hide his identity, (disguises) the trailer showed a number of things that would conflict with that goal and would draw attention to one self. The towering stacks of red bets was one. The shot showing mountainous stacks in front of him, similar to a poker player was a second. Wondering how long that session was to result in such a large mountain of chips? Clearly too long if one's intent is to fly under the radar and not draw attention. The third thing that comes to mind is the scene where he was arguing with presumably pit personnel after a barring. Again, nothing good can come from such a move except to draw additional attention.

I do look forward to seeing the production in it's entirety.
