    Certifying Players: Skills Requirement

We assume forming 'Bord of Directors'. One director leads 'Skills Division' and set up the level-guidelines of players to be qualified and certified for 3-4 levels such as Beginer, Medium, Senior, ...
What categories should be involved to be minium level player and to promote to next level ? I read other threads discussing about skills. Do I qualify to promote Medium level and raise initial bets ? Or, it would be depending only BR ? If I achive certain level of skills, I could take 10% of RoR instead of 0.025% RoR. Am I right ?

Beyond knowledge of diviations and keeping the count a high level player should know how to create a bet spread based on the bankroll at his or her disposal, use cover and camo in order to mask that he or she is an AP, handle the pressure of betting large sums of money and keeping emotion removed from play. Also there should not be an excessive level of paranoia(some is benificial). "Promotions" in your team would depend upon your play style. Do you use flat betting players to keep count and call in a BP? For this a player that does not know all of the divations may work. Trust is also a major concern.

When playing with a team you may play as if the team's bankroll is an individual's bankroll. For example, if you have 5 AP's and $10,000 each may play as if his or her bankroll is the team's bankroll of $10,000. You will be generating a higher EV with out increasing your RoR. This obviously would change with co-variance(If more than one player is on the same table).

In order to accept a higher RoR you must have an ability to replenish your bankroll that is not dependant upon your sucess at the tables. If you are playing blackjack as your primary source of income you will want to keep your RoR as low as possible.

There are no skills divisions. Either you are fully qualified for what your supposed to be doing (straight counting) or you aren't. The Team Captain decides on the approved betting schemes with input from the investors and players have just that menu to choose from. For more on teams you should read Uston's "Million Dollar Blackjack" and Don Schlesinger's "Blackjack Attack". Also check the BJ21 and BJMath.com archives for anything written by DD'. Also read anything you can find on Tommy Hyland or Al Francesco.

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
