CVBJ Setting for Spreading to Multiple Hands?

In CVBJ I have my table set to 6 spots with only 1 human player(me) and the other players are set to come and go. I was near the shuffle and the count was high, wanted to spread to 2 hands at 70% bet but was unable to do so. I think the only way to do it is go into Options, Table Format and change one of the players to another human. This spot then will never be played unless it's me spreading. Also, as soon as you change the Table Format the deck shuffles.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

    Thanks.

Nope. You must have a reserved seat to spread to another hand.
