First off let me say I do not want this to turn into a pissing contest. I am by no means an expert however I do play a lot of hours and I am quite proficient with my count. I would also like to say that the people on this board are some of the best minds you will find on the web when it comes to blackjack. Disrespecting and doubting them is not a great idea (speaking of good minds wheres Adam n Subtractum?) I can not explain everything about my self because that might give up my identity to the dark side but since you asked I will try to help you out. I started playing in 1994 after a mid life crisis when I felt a real job just wasn't what a man is supposed to do. I played thru 2000 pretty much every day. Then I took a year off and started back up in the begining of 2002. I play the Uston APC (yes I know) I play between 4 and 15 hours a day and probably average about 6 or 7 hours of actual counting or backcounting every day...I can count the # of days I did not place a bet or scout out a casino in the last year easily on one hand. With out going into to much detail I try to play pitch games as much as possible and will not play with out a min 75% pen and I strive for and achieve much better pen quite often. I spread 1-12 and wong out of about 1/3-1/2 of the negative counts. When I can't find acceptable pitch games I will wong the shoes again 75% minimum pen but I will usually look for 1 deck cut off or less as this is ideal. I usually flat bet 12 units when I wong. This is about all I feel comfort in sharing at this time. By the way that losing streak got up to 690 units but yesterday I finaly managed to score a victory of about 70 units so maybe the tide is about to change. Don't kid yourself this game can be brutal the swings can be HUGE about 3 months ago I won 1600 units in less then a week and a few years ago I quadrupled a bank in less then 2 days (due to a stupid promo by a casino that will forever be remembered by me till the day I pass....sorry no details on that I dont want to be identified) Thank you ****** casino for you generosity.
