"Finally, many of us know that is is possible to win at black jack by employing non-traditional methods that don?t depend on counting."
I need more information on this.

Suggest you read James Grosjean's "Beyond Counting" or Arnold Snyder's or George C.'s works on shuffle-tracking, as starters.

    Kyle Sever: Alternative Methods

Try Get the Edge at Blackjack by John May. It's a pretty easy read and will give you "a capsule review of advanced techniques." From there, move on to Grosjean.

In addition, Basic Blackjack, Million Dollar Blackjack, and Card Counting for the Casino Executive all touch on the subject.

On a minor note, Don, shuffle tracking involves counting, so I'm not sure if that's what the poster is looking for.
