Robert V. Lux: worthless or highly sophisticated systems

In a six deck game, standard international rules, with a 75 % penetration, a spread of ~1-5 is optimal. This weak spread is usually accepted by the casinos.

The players the casinos love the most are the "systemplayers". They enter a casino with just an other worthless, homemade system.

Many of these systems usually require a wide bet spread. If a "systemplayer" plays perfect basic strategy, how can the casinos seperate them from expert players? How do they tell the difference?

    Best regards, Robert V. Lux

I am very interested in knowing why you think a spread of 1-5 on a six deck game is "optimal". Please provide the reason for this comment and basis for it. I have BJRM and it's sim's say the game is all but worthless---75% and higher.

    1) Results. Someone spreading large with a losing system is always welcome. If someone is consistently winning, they don't care if your system is based on the positions of the planets or whatever, you will get counter-measures.

    2) What happens when you have your large bets out?
If the table is flooded with tens and aces after you have bet large, the casinos eyebrows go up. It doesn't matter if you push with the dealer's two card 20 with your own two card 20, or the idiots to the right and left of you get blackjacks, while you have 16. If you consistently have large bets out when the next 3 or 4 cards out of the shoe are tens, you will get noticed.
