    Lewis H.: Meeting other Counters

One of the messages touched on the subject but was never fully addressed. How does one go about meeting other counters? I frequent a card house in Washington State where I think one of the dealers I have become pretty good friends with counts well, how do I aproach the subject without suspicion from the pit boss?
Are there other places or "phrases" that one could use to kind of throw the flag up to the trained ear?

Thanks for all your help. And what a wonderful website.

Why would you want to talk about counting with a dealer at a casino you are playing at? The best idea is to avoid the subject while inside or around a casino, and avoid that dealer if you think he knows how to count. You risk your longevity at that casino.

    My humble advice,

I've read the same words in some post not long ago. But for the life of me I can't remember what or whom it was about. Damn!
(It'll come to me in a minute.)

    The Mayor: My humble advice

was surely the result of my attempt to do the opposite -- and failing miserably...

Yes, in the not too distant past, I wanted to talk to dealers (and the pit, and anyone who would listen) about counting and advantage play. I got what I asked for, tossed on my ass.
