    Damon: BlackJack Code

    Dear Everyone,
I would like to know where I can find the math behind basic strategy. I am a computer engineer and would love to run the simulations myself. Is there a book that shows how the experts came up with Basic Strategy?
    Best Regards,
    Damon

Try " The Theory of Blackjack" by Peter Griffin, you should be able to find most of the math you need in this book.

If you're looking to go back to "the beginning":
The original article by the Baldwin Group, the ORIGIN of our basic strategy, used to be on the bjmath.com site. I presume it's still there.

After that, go with the Griffin suggestion above.
