I have read and learnt a lot from many BJ forums. Many except few experts here are willing to help the newbies.
I had even shared infomation with many fellow APs thru various discussion.
I was thinking this may be an interesting subject to tackle but disappointed with the response.

    > Giving valuable information for free?

For certain people, nothing is for free in this world but there are also lots of people willing to share free info in the Web.
I share info with fellow APs, not for money but in return friendship which is invaluable.
I brought up this topic barely to improve my knowledge in advantage play, and for the benefit of whoever come across this game.
I do not earn my bread from this game. I enjoy myself tackling puzzles and challenging new games. It's like a hobby to me and if I think the hobby is too expensive, I can chose to give it up.

The high barring record does not prove that one is a good advantage player. To me, good cover play is part of the game.
$20K+ a month is a small amount considering the hours you spend on BJ tables and the time you sacrifice to be away from your family and love ones.
You may be at the top of the table for the # of countries visited. I play BJ for more than ten years but only visit about 30 countries.

    Same to you.

Too bad you are not here. It's like open tournament now and the Japanese are hitting them like nobody business.

    > Good Luck... I won't trade with you.

Thank you... but I did not ask!

i will run a sim, but need some time. have to rewrite my program code. i will give you an e-mail address.
i tell you at once: seems to be a good game, especially because you can redouble any 4 card hand. all places i know give you just a free card if you have doubled twice and have still 11 or less.
i can tell you more when i am ready with my program.

Christopher: BJT, Congrats for your $250,000 winnings

    BJT Wrote in part:

BJT, wow, I'm happy to see your report of $250,000 winnings this year so far; that's a $150,000 jump from 2006's! Perhaps the new Macao casinos have been your cash cows, right? Or Perhaps the good timing and nice location are everything, and you're probably have done almost everything in the right time and right place.

It happens that I get a story to tell you, and it's about your old job. It's amazing that you're able to make money as a casino gambler, but can not make money as a stock broker. On the other hand, my friend Martie makes tons of money as a stock broker, but makes no money from casino gambling. By the way, Stock Broker Martie gets 3 sons: A lawyer, a certified public accountant, and a PhD in Economics. All 3 sons quitted their jobs and have worked for their Daddy. The bottom line: You go where you can make big bucks, right? Go figure!

    Agree. My mistake.
Chances are there (though slim),that I may blow their cover.
I guess you may be sharing part of the cake from them for selling the info.

May I also remind you that you had done worse by revealing the identity of a fellow AP.
You mentioned in a open forum his nationality, bet size and calculated his hourly win rate.
He was barred from the casino.
This may not be the cause, but who knows?

You are a world traveller and a writer. You write a lot about your experience and lots of stories about good and bad casinos. They are all published in the papers and magazines. All the places are cainos that you were barred and would play any more.
Is this fair for other APs??

Christopher: BJT's 12-17 article: Cash Rebates!

    Hey BJT,

Thanks for your above article. Now I know why you won big in 2007.

I would never guess how powerful the cash rebates are until you mentioned in the article that:

    HK$100,000,000 were won by you & 4 APs: Mr. Q, Mr. T, a Malay-guy, and a Japanese guy. By the way, HK$100,000,000.00 = USA$12,823,961.74.

Do you think that the Macao/HK casinos will stop the rebates after reading your article?

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage.
