Geoff Hall: Re: What kind of documents should we prepare?

Just make sure that your Visa is valid with the correct dates and that you get it authorized as soon as you get to your hotel in Moscow.

    Best regards

Besides a valid visa, you need a registration, which is normally done by the hotel. They put the registration mark on the opposite side of your imigration card. The problem is, that it can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 12 hours to complete the registration and give your passport back to you (usually, the bigger and cheaper the hotel, the longer registration time). While your passport is at registration, you have nothing better than to stay in your room, if you do not want to get into trouble.

    Shark: A better solution

A better option would be to stay in hotel with a good casino and get your player card before surrendering your passport for registration.

BTW, you can register within 3 days of your arrival. Shark

When I arrive in Moscow the hotel tells me that my passport will be ready the next morning. I just reply that I have to go out that night and my passport is ready within 1 hour.

Registration is a 5 minute job for them.

    Best regards

I was at Moscow for a business trip with two friends. One casino was inside the hotel I played strongly with no fears for three days totall 15 hours making 10 thousand $.NO PROBLEM.
My two business friends they went out to see the red thing and was stopped from the police because one was smoking and the other was drinking a coca cola. They payed the police 100 $ to go.
So play black jack and nothing else.
