    For international casinos try casinochecker.com

    http://www.casinochecker.com/real_casinos/world/france/

This list isn't perfect but its close. There are many large casino chains in France. Follow the links to the different casino companys and you may find casinos that aren't listed above. Also when in a city, ask around if there are more casinos.

There are 330 casinos in France and its not all that big. It has higher casino density than the US. There aren't very many CSMs.

The only bad part is that the rules are consistent and suck.

6D ENHC DAS RSA D9 NS

You'll need to get some huge spreads on the table to make it work, but if you get barred you have lots more places to play.

Professional BJ wong indices table are not perfect, I think, specially for DD the soft hands A8, A9

most of the casino have a good penetration 5/6

    -0,64% advantage for the dealer

You can spread from 1 to 50 in most of the places

minimum bet from 2? to 20? according to the casino

from 100 to 5000? are the bigest french table I know

You can bet from 1 to 7 boxes

Very few players play or know perfect BS

Your passport will be asked for registration any time you will enter in a casino and you have to pay a fee around 10?/day.

Pit know very few about counters and you could attack strongly the shoe without serious heat for some hours specially in the small casinos

But they are not open 24/24h

For more info you could send me an email.

Sorry for the bad english I am speaking

Welcome to the "old europe" and be ready for large fluctuations

No pit or casino manager in the world, should ever be afraid of a typical cardcounter.
Since the mathematic of this game is 40 years old, the french casinos are doing very well, how they handle the game. Also to take away the first 5 cards of a fresh shuffled shoe, protects the game. To offer handshuffled games, keeps the players at the tables. I write this, because in Germany, where in many casinos CSMs are now installed, groups of dealers and their friends where cheating and taking some millions out of the casinos. But all these people got caught, the introduction of CSMs began.
BTW two new casinos in Switzerland are now closed after one year of operation. They had CSMs. No wonder, who would ever bet serious money
    at a CSM table??

    Hi there,

Are you saying the introduction of CSM's in Germany was dirctly down to cheating by staff and players from the casinos?

And if so how would the introduction of CSM's stop this from occuring ?

    It's in "Professional Blackjack, p. 82, as +3 and then on p. 85 as +4. Take your pick! :-)

I believe the risk averse index for this play is around +7 though.

    Wrong!
On +3.1 EV of doubling 11 vs 10 = EV of hitting. Start to double on 3.5 or 4. If you will fail to do so it will cost you money. Do you double 9 vs 2 on +1? Start to double on +4...Same mistake!

I remember Karel Janecek was advocating a RA index for this play at something like +8 or +9 (or even better not double at all)!

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
