how costly is a counting error when using Hi-Opt II no ac

I have been practicing Hi-Opt II no ac for months and recording my practice sessions and see that I make a small counting error only every 20-30 double deck shoes. Is this error margin low enough to where it doesn't render my game useless am I still a winning player if I'm only making a counting error every two hours or so? These counting errors are also very small as in off by the count by 1 most of the time. I am distracting myself while I practice by watching a movie or talking to someone to simulate the conditions in a casino and can keep the count and I am not sure how worried I should be about this margin of error. Of course I want my game to be absolutely perfect I am asking more for peace of mind.

One single mistake every 20-30 double deck shoes is about the edge of what I would still consider a professional level. I wouldn't say 1 mistake every 10 shoes is acceptable.

All of the big teams have gone through this. They start off, have pretty high standards, let it slip a little, and before they know it they have a bank that should have been double 5 times already, and it's gone nowhere, or even stuck. They run skill checks, and people are all over the place. If they're smart, they really clamp down and become an absolute Nazi about perfect play. And then they start making money again.

There's no way around it. If you're going to count cards, you need to practice until you do not make mistakes.

its scary how costly even an error an hour can be but it can seem so innocuous in the moment like oh yeah I'm pretty sure the count is +2, practice makes perfect!
