Hey everyone, thanks for all the helpful responses to my earlier question about maintaining a side count and tracking rounds played![https://www.blackjacktheforum.com/sh...-Rounds-Played]
I’ve got that part down now, but I wanted to follow up with a more specific question:
Has anyone tried the method described in Play Blackjack Like the Pros by Kevin Blackwood, where you use a multiplier (based on the number of players and the round number) to adjust the running count into a true count?
If so, how did it work for you? What are the multipliers like, and are there other similar strategies for dealing with varying player counts per round?
I’m especially curious if this method is practical beyond single-deck play or if there are better alternatives for multiple decks. Looking forward to hearing your insights!
