Casino confiscated my chips from poker.

So, I got banned by my local Indian casino like 5 years ago for counting card. They never read me trespass nor I signed anything. I never went back also. Recently, they have some decent poker game and I played like 3 times since October. First two times I just color up chips(6-7k) at the end and no issues. Last night I played the game again and I tried to color up 11k at the end , the poker room floor made cashier to ask player card or ID. I tried to say I don’t have Id with me. He said I can come back next day with Id to get my chips. I ended up give them my ID and system shows I’m banned from the property. The security talked me and said they need the regulatory compliance officer to review and to see if he can lift the ban, otherwise my chips are confiscated. Right now I couldn’t get hold of the guy probably because the long weekend. Any suggestions ? What is the chance that I can get my 11k back?

You have no rights at an Indian casino. If they stiff you, I'd go to the press, such as a TV news "troubleshooter."

Here are some lessons for next time

-Don't go back to Indian casinos if you get banned. Your rights there are extremely limited
-If you are banned at an Indian casino, don't play high stakes poker there
-If you disregard the above, don't cash out an amount where they are legally required to collect your ID

I wouldn't say your case is 100% hopeless because you weren't playing table games, but it's probably 90%.
