    Some tips regarding travel

    I am backed off locally.
Need some advice for my first trip.
any tip regarding traveling would help alot.
I have 4 days off every week ( i still have a fulltime job on weekends).
I will be doing around 2 trips ( 4 or 5 days for 1 trip) each month.

Need to ask the size of your bankroll and stakes to play as well as to insure you’re incorporating travel expenses into your EV and ror calculations.

I have often pontificated the need for proper nutrition and quality of hours vs quantity of hours.

    I have 25k.
I calculated my ev in cities i am ok to travel is around 50$ to 100$ depending on how many players at the table and pen conditions. (ROR LESS THAN 1%)
300$ would be my expense for car rental and gas money.
Around 200 for air bnb, i can reduce that 100 by sleeping in car.
And rest is food expense might be around 200 for 4 days. Thats 700$.
So total expense will be around 800$ including airfare.
I think i have to play atleast 40 hours in 4 days to make a profitable trip in terms of ev and expenses.
There are 9 to 10 casinos within 3 hr drive.

I am only saving around 65% after expenses.
Should i wait untill my expenses are 10% or less.

    Some general comments
    1. I’m presuming that your 1% ROR does not include a factor for expenses. Don’t think too much of a big deal here. Further presuming you know the rule sets if the casinos 8n question and that your EV incorporates those numbers.
    2. 10 hours of play a day is a lot. You really need to be young and healthy enough to maintain that pace further understanding there is driving time as well.
    3. Your overall expense budget looks reasonable. DO NOT sleep in your car. You have more than chump change on you and further, regardless of age and health - best results come from being well rested. Further, you don’t want to smell which means additional time finding shower facilities. If you insist on sleeping in your car - find a spot near an after grade 12 education facility and close to a phys Ed building. There you will have shower facilities. Make sure you bring along a combination lock.
    4. Expense ratio of 35% is far too high. If you have replenishable funds, you can try it out, but be careful.

There is more but that should do it for now.

    Thanks freightman.
Will update once i do it.
    1. How can i calculate my ROR by including expenses?
    2. If the casino 8n question? What is that? You mean 86 me or back me off?
3.i am 24 and i can play that long without errors. Once i notice errors or confuse my RC I JUST CALL IT A NIGHT.
    4. I am using Relpenishable bankroll, i started with 15 k replenishable, now i have15k on me. As i got backed off locally, i decided to increased my replenish limit to 25k. Can put more if needed.

Prorate your total expenses to be applied (subtracted from) to your hourly win rates. There is no change to variance, as the cost is certain.

If you have to sleep in your car to make this work then it really isn't working. Unless you have a reasonably decent set up like an RV or mattress somehow, this just isn't a great idea even for a young person.

Playing 10 hours a day is a problem not just in terms of endurance but also in terms of longevity at your casinos. Going out there and assuming you can crush marathon sessions at these places is pretty darn optimistic. It is almost tantamount to saying "Well, I'll just keep counting cards all day AND I won't get caught. That's my strategy. To not get caught!!"

Think there is a good chance you burn down your sort of local opportunities really quickly if you attempt that many hours in a given stop on a trip. One shoulder tap stands a good chance of giving you an issue with other casinos in the area if they communicate with each other about such stuff...which isn't uncommon.

You can go for it if you like and see how long you last at a given location. But racking up the hours at each place runs a higher risk. And traveling between places also takes time as well and doesn't count among your 10 actual hours at the table.

In short, I'm not convinced this is a good plan.

Yeah i revised whole trip plan again and realized it will only work if everything goes as i expected. But if i cant get hours in within those 4 days my expenses will be 50% instead of 35% which i cant afford. So i decided to delay it for a while and trying to put some more money in my bankroll.
And a friends trip was also coming next month going through same city i can atleast play 20 hrs without adding any extra expenses to friends trip bugdet.
