Low Spread Going after the comps

    Hi everyone,

Would this work, going after the comps:

    Start shoe at 1x75. Then:

    Below -3: 1x$25
    -3 thru -1: 1×$50
    0: 1x$75
    Max @ +1: 2x$150

    6D H17 Das nsurr nRSA sp4 4.75/6

Bankroll large enough so this is 0.0% ROR

So CVCX is saying 43.77$/hr with a 1245 hour N0 using Hi Low Full Indices. Yikes! Has anyone ever tried something like this?

This doesn't seem like a small spread to me but I see how you are trying to disguise it. But a 1-12 spread definitely isn't that small.

If you pull your bet back to start then you might only get rated for $50 per bet and thus you will barely be getting any comps or rewards points at all at that level. At most places. But if you know the system of the specific place you're hoping to take advantage of and think it will work then that's better than just going into it mostly blind and hoping that your level of play will bring some rewards.

The problem with a smaller spread is that it is essentially just the same as a large spread for detection purposes.

It does however dramatically cut down on your edge.

You're not going to get much if rated $50/hand. As far as when that began I can't provide the history of the comp structure for you. Perhaps your seeming disagreement in this idea lies in semantics distinctions as to what constitutes a decent amount of comps. At Caesars you'll probably be around 100 to 150 rewards credits per hour. That's about $1 - $1.50 per hour. You would also get on their radar to get free rooms on weeknights mostly. But you aren't exactly going to rake it in.

If you're playing for comps, you don't get rated on your minimum bet. You get rated on a large bet. Then you drop your bet when the boss goes away.

Leaving negative counts makes it pretty easy to get a breakeven game if you're just playing for comps.

This depends, to a massive degree, on the casino in question. Most places on the strip suck for comps. But $50 a hand at a locals casino is probably a comped room and a decent amount of free food, plus mailers. Same idea in a comp-friendly place like Tunica.
