Thread: NEW Card Counting System! (CAC2 + CAC2 Enhanced)

Okay did some research and reflection. I’ll do anything to improve WR, BE and PE. I hate those downswings from simply losing. $100 would be way more than worth it. How different are the indices than in Ao2?

Another question. Why is Ao2 and blackjack for blood not mentioned here? Too complicated? Seemed to work for Gina Fiore. I watched all of the BJA interview with Colin. Another question is why Colin would do a HI-LO as opposed to level 2 being a math major. Especially in the multi-deck shoe game today.

I have success with the Ao2 and am always looking to improve my game in my young career. Just started under a year ago. I’ve turned $2,000 into $9k ( two month period - initial land based play ), $8k into $16, $500 to $10,000, $500 into $4600 before I start to get over confident and go on tilt going up to a 40 unit max bet instead of the 125 recommended in BJFB. I thought I’d solved this until I a hit LL again with a nickel adding the BJA advantage queen of heart side count and 6.5 six deck count to play it. Walked away with the $1000 from the side plus $400 from normal play. I kept playing after hitting the side. I even got it 2 days later but without anything on in since 3 decks had not come out yet and 3 queen of hearts came out. I’m currently working on this part of my game having a much larger BR coming in.

Is there a sample of the CAC2 to test out? Not going to shell out $100 based on a post. BJFB was a $9.99 download.
If the CAC2 enhanced can add to my wins, BE, and EV and advantage of course I would want to pick it up. I’d like to mitigate those down swings as much as possible. Need to accept they are inevitable though.
    Hi,

First of all, to compare both systems, we need to do so under the same conditions. CAC2 is a system that doesn’t necessarily require a secondary count,
whereas with AO2 the side count of aces is strictly necessary.
Having said that, if we compare CAC2 with AO2 (without the side count of aces), clearly the former is far superior to the latter.
In the case of using AO2/A, we should also use CAC2/A, and in this case, there are several alternatives that are superior.
There are also other secondary counts that are easier to manage that are even better.
These latest improvements are part of the second part of the original document (CAC2 Enhanced).

    Sincerely,
    Cac

You can't assess any difference in count systems in 72 hours of play. Fluctuations in blackjack are huge. Most of us have had losing years.

It's in Colin's best interest to teach a system that is as simple as possible (though still powerful, admittedly) because he is selling subscriptions for his training program to as big of a market as possible.

I do think people are amazingly stubborn about sticking to Hi Lo and not at least TRYING a level 2 system. They are willing to learn 50 extra obscure playing deviations to add an extra 5% to their EV but they're NOT willing to add and subtract certain cards by 2 to add an extra 10%??

Memorizing and recalling indices is actually easy. Counting a level 2 is much more difficult plus a lot of thought leaders in the industry advise against it.

For Hi-Lo you need only learn 20 to 25 indices to nearly double SCORE for some pretty average games. See for example a 4.5/6 S17 DAS game with Play-all spreads of 1-8, 1-12 and 1-16 (Tables 16.1 through16.3 in the HLCCS book). Most folks know the I18, so they are almost there already. Beyond that, you will see that there is very little additional gain available.

Want to increase these SCOREs by another 70-75%? Find penetration of 5/6. No extra mental effort required (see tables 24.1 through 24.3). Finding better penetration is by far the easiest way to increase your win rate. Much more effective than learning more indices or using a higher level count.

My experience is the opposite. I thought about trying a higher-level count but am too busy learning 2-deck indices in addition to the 6-deck ones. Figuring out and calculating is easy, memorizing is hard.

All the casinos I go to have 75% or greater pen. The only one that didn’t eventually was Delaware park which I stopped going to immediately when I noticed one day I was there the cut card come out with at least 3 decks remaining of an 8 deck shoe. DO NOT GO HERE. This was even in the $50 min high limit table. Made a few light sarcastic comments to the dealer and bosses then colored and left. Ef that place.

After many hours of play I noticed plays coming out more frequently outside of the I18. I’d recommend knowing all indexes. There isn’t one that hasn’t come out however unlikely. Luckily I was able to guess to stay on a 16 dealer 9 when the count was super high for a 6 deck shoe. Stayed and prayed and the dealer fortunately busted having increased my bet substantially. Looked up the ao2 index and there it was, stay on 16d9 TC > 7.

That said, I did win a lot with knowing basic strategy, basic omega 2 then learning ao2 without having all the indexes memorized.
You will have more confidence you are making all the right plays knowing them all though especially when you’re not getting good hands.

Time changes so do blackjack games. I haven’t thought about using a level 2 count for today’s games.

Okay cool. I’m going to stick to the aO2 level 2 and will most likely buy the CAC2 and enhanced. There’s countless times on the BJA app that I get flagged for a wrong move but win, lose less not doubling the 9 on 2 or 3 not being in > 0 for 3 and 4 for 2, hitting a 16 on 10 at <= -4 and my personal favorite plays - hitting a hard 14, 15 or 16 against a low card at the right negative count. Dealers faces go blank when I get these in person. Players commend for saving the table lol. Dealers get good tips not eating into my BR, < 10%. It’s a win, win, win for everyone and the casino even if they don’t know it.
I was getting mad heat last week though and a boss who knows me even came over and said hi and barely even looks at me. I played the game was buddy buddy , the big boss lady left albeit with death glares ( Northeast magnitude ) and I continued to play.

I did get lose my sht after the dealer gave me reds after a win when I took off my LL side bet with many queen of hearts coming out. I threw the big stack of red I had on the match the dealer side ( never play it ) bet not knowing how much was there in response. Ended up getting a match 4:1 with $55 on it lolol. Thanked her for giving me red to play sides colored and left for the day. I thought it would be good for my heat even if I lost and was winning for the past 4 hours. I have to stay level headed as My hot headed behavior can deplete my BR. Has before. Can’t let casino staff behavior rattle me and stick to the plan minus calculated plays to ward off heat.
