    Are my counting days over?

I just got into counting about 5 months ago. I’m 22 years old and don’t have much of a bankroll so I’m playing small units and a 1-10 spread. I was sort of dumb at the start and just played at my local casino (Hollywood at the Meadows). After about 2.5 months and probably 25-30 sessions I got a tap on the shoulder and was asked to leave and told I would be trespassed if I returned to play blackjack. I knew that day would come so I wasn’t too surprised, just a little nervous with it being my first back off. They knew my name, I assume from the ID scanners at the door, so they didn’t even bother asking me to see my ID again. About two weeks later (which was probably too soon) I decided to try my luck at Wheeling Island and I was backed off after playing for probably 45 minutes. I decided to just take some time off and see if I would cool off, but after two months I came to Live! Casino Pittsburgh and only played 2 hands before they sent me on my way. Is this an issue that I’m going to face anywhere they have ID scanners at the door now or if I travel to a different city/state will I have better luck? I’m really hoping that I’m not finished I love counting and while I’m obviously not playing full time it’s nice to have an activity I can enjoy while also making some extra cash. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I haven't played in those joints in years...or more....but if they are sweating a 1-10 spread on shoes games, that's too funny....but not too surprising

Sounds like you were going too much to the same place...even with that spread and stakes...go figure...but 25-30 x in 2.5 months...is pretty much every other day....NOT good!

You will be fine in another area/state as I've experienced some small cities "flyering"...but at those stakes and spread....doubtful any other casinos really consider you a threat

You are not done by any means...just play (much) less often as same place....spread it around....and, perhaps, double or triple your spread for better results in less time

...just adding, to be clear, you will lose much more in less time, too with the bigger spread....just eat it and leave...sounds like you need a bigger bank roll to make it worth your while, imo

    good luck!!!

You will be alright. The same thing happened to me some years back. Makes me question the intelligence of the casino management. When it happened at my local places I was under-rolled playing a $20/hr game.
If they were smart they would have just let me occupy a seat, continue playing, and wait to take my money once a long dose of -variance hit me. Which would have happened eventually.

Sorry to hear your story. Must be the new company which takes over Meadow. A few years ago, I saw a famous Philadelphia team coming to town and play at Meadows. The whole surveillance team came downstairs to follow the team. Five members took over the table but the casino just let them play. I also saw AP play at higher spread. Never saw Meadows back off them. When I saw they back off players, it is all because of misconducts. Did you do anything rude or violent, or are you drunk? If not, must be the new owner tighten the policy.
