Never heard Max refer to APs as "cheats".

From wikipedia: "he has also done consulting work for many casinos including Harrah's, Hilton Casinos, and Mirage Resorts, and he now exclusively teaches the staff at the Barona Casino in San Diego how to spot and counter many cheating techniques." I'd be surprised if that didn't include AP. He may never have used that term personally.

Anyway my only interest in this is pointing out that the fact Kat wasn't liked by people who work for casinos is testament to her obvious talent rather than the contrary. I had relatively few exchanges with her but she was a very classy and intelligent lady.

Yes, she was a friend and I miss her. I also talked to the other side. The Australian casinos were bewildered. They didn't understand why she was winning and ultimately discovered how by taking advantage of her open and trusting nature.

After the Australian casinos realised that Pontoon was beatable they either withdrew the game altogether or started dealing it from a 126 CSM.

Hey there, I totally agree with you on this one. Kat is definitely deserving of being considered for the HoF, and I'm glad to see that others in this thread feel the same way. While I understand the sentiment behind creating separate categories for different groups, I think it's important to keep us all together and have multiple honorees in some years. It doesn't have to be restricted to just one per year.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, and by the way, have you checked out this review for Jackpot Cash Casino? They have some pretty fast payouts, which is always a plus in my book. Here's the link: https://www.zebracasino.co.za/jackpo...casino-review/

Will be suggesting a Baseball Hall of Fame-type voting process to Max, whereby you're allowed to vote for x number of candidates from a slate and then all who receive a specified percentage of the ballots (baseball is 75%) are elected.

Probelem in baseball is that there are years with no one, and we don't want that. But, there can be work-arounds.

    Don,

How about using the baseball Hall of Fame method you mentioned with the addition that the candidate with the most votes is enshrined even if the total is below the 75% threshold?

Of course, you would have to decide how to handle a situation in which the top two tie with sub-75% totals: admit both, hold a runoff, flip a coin, etc.

You also might want to raise the 75% threshold to avoid electing too many, especially if the field of potential candidates is small in relation to the value of "x": in BB HoF voting, x is 10, which is almost certainly far too many for your situation.

A push is a win, right?

They should do something similar with movies. Some years, there are no good movies and other years there are several. I started watching the recent, big Oscar winner, Everything Everywhere... and turned it off after 30 minutes.
