Question why does CVCX Win/Loss column not strictly increase

As we know, the player's edge increases with TC (roughly 0.5% per +1 TC). So why does the corresponding Win/Loss column (aka IBA or EV) sometimes decrease while the TC increases? Followup question: why is the increase in Win/Loss sometimes erratic (e.g. increasing by only 0.1% then by 0.9%)? Do certain true counts add more player edge than others? Thanks!

First, forget the .5% per +1 TC. It's just a rough estimate. The increase is erratic based on when the indices take effect. It will sometimes drop at very high TCs because the number of hands is too few . Simming more hands will reduce this effect. Also, single deck can be very erratic depending on how TC is calculated.
